Cal-Arts alumni (school of fine art), Denise Siegel migrated to Los Angeles from Chicago after a short stint at the Art Institute where she was given a scholarship to study while still in high school. Siegel was the only student during her stint at Cal-Arts to receive a merit based full tuition scholarship and won grants from Roy O. Disney among many others.

After years of painting and drawing she returned to her first love, photography. Since then she's shot many notable musicians, actors and comedians.

Her photography has been published in newspapers and magazines around the world, some of the most notable in the US include: USA Today, Los Angeles Times, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Mojo, Rolling Stone, People, Musician and Variety among dozens of others.

Recently, Denise Siegel was one of the top 40 picked in LACDA's international digital art and photo competition. Her work is currently on display in their gallery in downtown LA. This year (2007) she was added to the roster of artists at LAAA's gallery 825.
